RESEÑA - Flesh and Blood by Kristen Painter

Sacrifice is a choice…

With the ring of sorrows still missing, and the covenant between othernaturals and mortals broken, Chrysabelle and Malkolm’s problems are just beginning. Chrysabelle still owes Malkolm for his help, but fulfilling that debt means returning to Corvinestri, the hidden vampire city neither of them is welcome in.

The discovery that Chrysabelle has a brother could mean reneging on her promise to Malkolm, something that might make him angry enough to loose the beast living inside him. And fulfilling her vow could prove devastating for Chrysabelle — especially when you throw in power hungry witches, dead fringe vampires, and the Kubai Mata.

REVIEW:

This book follows the previous one with a Chrysabelle in mourning for his death mother. And Mal really angry because he thinks she's not going to hold her end of the bargain. And our shapeshifter broken in bits because Fi is gone. and the plot opens itself to follow as many lines as it may be in order to have all this characters and their ways sorted out. So we follow Dominic. And the shape shifter. And Fi. And their stories are so well written, so compelling, that you don't find you are missing out when the story is taken away from its main characters.

Also we get to know a new member of the crew, Creek, who is a hot mortal member of the legendary Kubai Mata throw in to protect Chrysabelle. Obviously there is going to be some tension between them. And Mal, of course.

After reading it, and hating Tatiana even more, and after getting mesmerized again by the world presented by the author, I have to say the same that I have said previously: go for it. Read this book. It truly is amazing. As in seriously.
