It somehow brings to mind sonata Arctica's Dream Thieves song...
Book summary:
Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same.
Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life.
Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after...

Extract from the book:
"“No one but Ronan knew the terrors that lived in his mind.
Plagues and devils, conquerors and beasts."
All his "darkness" comes from the secret burdens he carries. We all have secrets. His... are of the three kinds: spoken, unspoken and unknown.
He is a guy who can pull things from his dreams and carry them outside, into the awakened world, for lack of a better term. He lives between worlds, a foot in each.
We will also follow the story of Adam a bit more, getting to know what the sacrifice he did in the previous book will do to him.
And the rest of the gang will also be present, of course, maturing more with each page.
So, all in all, a good read. good main characters. But gets confusing, to me, sometimes, with a lot of names thrown in and the ley lines connundrum. Still a bit blurry what the misterious king they are looking for is able to do or not do and why is he so important. At least to me.
What I really like is the evolution of Ronan, the whats and whys are fairly interesting.
